MF DOOM & Trunks- Unicron

MF DOOM & Trunks- Unicron

This has been out for a while now, but I just downloaded it a few days ago. I'll get it out of the way right off the bat, DOOM does not spit a verse. I repeat, no DOOM verse, no chorus, no hook, and no talking. This is strictly Trunks. No need to worry though, this is in no way bad, homie carries his weight. All the beats are off of Special Herbs, and if you've heard King Geedorah's(MF DOOM) Take Me To Your Leader, you'll be familiar with the track "Lockjaw", which was featured. Not much is known about Trunks, but everything you need to know about this elusive ass ninja can be found on his myspace.

Tracklist:

01. Monsters
02. Devastator
03. LockJaw
04. Last Laugh
05. The Story
06. Whos a Hero

Mixtape: Jansport J- The Carry-On Experience

Wow. Now this is my type of music, just chill, deep, lyrical, and overall soothing. This entire album consists of different tracks produced by Jansport J, each featuring a different artist. Here's what Jansport J has to say about it

"In life, we've always been told that baggage is a bad thing. It holds you back in relationships and progression, or so we've been told. However, when you succeed in whatever you do at life, or "take flight", it's important to bring that baggage with you. That baggage made you who you are and prepared you for the successes to come...hence the concept of "the carry-on" baggage.

On this album, you'll be hearing rappers from all over America rappin' about their present situations and perspectives on life. Everything that the common man goes through is on this album."

-Jansport J

Each of these artist's can spit, and Jansport J makes some captivating beats, no, not even beats, he makes instrumentals, the word "beat" is just too simplistic for them. Not to say that his beats are overly multi-dimensioned, they're just right. Just right, that's the perfect way to describe his instrumentals.

If you want to have something chill to listen to, something to just relax to, this is it.

TRACKLISTING:
01 - Intro - Jansport J
02 - Just Listen - Velosity

Mixtape: D.Julien- Let Me Introduce Myself

Let Me Introduce Myself

I've been bumping this for about a week now, and figured it was time to post it up. This is really an incredible mixtape. It's a great CD from begining to end, it has to be one of the best mixtapes that I've had sent to me, and it made me a fan.

I'm not the biggest fan of New York rap recently, with a few exceptions, but it's cats like D that are bringing it back. Not all about the cars, the girls, the diamonds, or the money; I know that's a cliche now, but it's still something to be taken note of, especially for a cat from NY.

"A Collection of Rejected Excellence is a series (CORE SERIES) the homie Blu started with his release of “Lifted.” This release “Elevator Music” follows suit as a group of songs without the fast food traits of a mixtape. This is just a collection of music I’ve made and liked..Songs from scattered releases and imports. Blended together. Check it out and hopefully yall enjoy; maybe get to know me a little better…"

Clinton Sparks & Fall Out Boy - The New Administration

The New Administration

The mixtape preview to Fall Out Boys newest album Folie a Deux. Not much rock, or alternative music get's posted here, simply becuase it doesn't seem to appear so much on the internet, so this is pretty refreshing, since I love alternative almost as much as hip-hop. This isn't really a Fall Out Boy mixtape, as much as it is a Decaydance one. It has appearences by Travie (Gym Class Heroes), The Hush Sound, Cobra Starship, and many others. Luda has a little interlude, which I thought was pretty cool (since he does a lot of work with Clinton Sparks, and he's working with another rock group, Good Charlotte, on his next album). It's pretty good, and you guys should listen to it. Diversify goddamit. The tracklist and download link are below.

1. Guy Ripley (Intro)
2. Ludacris (Interlude)
3. Fall Out Boy - ALPHAdog & OMEGAlomaniac (Demo)

You take a good MC and then you...Add-2

Tale of Two's City Vol.2

So I heard about Add-2 a while back over at The Trolley Stop, but i didn't pay much mind to him. Fast forward to today, I'm over at my friends house and he starts playing these songs, and I'm thinking to myself "That's definitely going on The Morning Tilts", so i ask him who that was, lo-and behold it was Add-2's Tale of Two's City. He's an amazing lyricist, with a flow that reminds me of Lupe; his hooks are crazy, and the freestyles that he put up are pretty sick too. Check it out, you won't regret it.

TRACKLIST:
1. Add's Conscience
2. Pride
3. Let It Bang
4. Add's Deconstruction Freestyle
5. Declaration
6. Just Tryna Be Loved
7. H.E.R Story
8. Players Ball

Rhymefest- Man In The Mirror (Mixtape)

Now this mixtape isn't in any way new, it came out about 7 months ago, but that doesn't change the fact that it's amazing. It's dedicated to Michael Jackson himself, and many of the songs are sampled completely from Michael Jackson and Jackson 5, not to mention that he alters audio quotes from Mike to make it sound as if he's having a conversation with him. It sounds amazing and i still can't wait for El Che to come out. Since nobody knows when that is, you're just going to have to let this suffice. Here's the tracklist followed by the download link.

01 The Cipher (Rhymefest & Michael Jackson)
02 Can’t Make It (Rhymefest) (prod. Best Kept Secret)
03 “Thriller” Skit

Izza Kizza- Kizzaland (Free Mixtape)

Sick ass flow, lyrics deeper than you would imagine and enough commercial appeal to be big (it helps that he's Timbaland's newest artist). I heard of Izza Kizza for the first time today, and i think that i'm in love. "Izza Kizza has an electric flow and versatile style" according to his myspace. He dropped a free mixtape which i'm putting down in a little, but before i do i'd like to give you a preview. I personally don't download albums or mixtapes from artist's that i've never heard of, and i'm so confident in this cat that i'm gonna post one of my favorite song by The Wizard of Izz himself

Izza Kizza- "Here I Iz"

And now i proudly present to you

Kizzaland

Download

It starts kind of slow, but it picks up at around track 5 and the Timbo freestyle is sick.
