Video: Muneshine- "Status Symbol"
Truth be told... and I know I'll get ostracized for this...I've never heard of this cat. But I'm convinced now after hearing this little intro, that homie can spit. He's based out of Toronto, and he's a emcee/producer combo. His album Status Symbol will be dropping this summer on Domination Recordings.
Video: Left 4 Dead 2
A few days ago Microsoft and Valve announced Left 4 Dead 2. Left 4 Dead was hands down one of the most amazing zombie games i have ever played (and I love zombies). This time the survivors are in Louisiana and there's way more options than in the first installment.
The option for melee combat has been added, with weapons such as axes, chainsaws, frying pans, and more. L4D2 also added the option to change weather effects, world objects, and pathways in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match the players' performance. It will feature new Survivors, boss zombies, weapons, and items, too, as well as more co-operative campaigns, more Versus campaigns, and maps for Survival mode available at launch.
Look out for Left 4 Dead 2 on your Xbox 360 November 17th

Video: Rhymefest - "Chicago"
Off of El Che, dropping...eventually. This has got to be one of my favorite Rhymefest songs, and the video, directed by Konee Rok is one of the sickest that I've seen and just in time for Free Comic Book Day

Video: Jay Smooth on Gold Chains
I was noticing the other day... Jay is by far, the most popular name in hip hop. I mean, think about it, Jay Smooth, Jay-Z, J. Rocwell, J. Rocc, J Rock, J Dilla, Illa J, Jay Ess, DJay, Jay Who?, Jay Electronica. I guess I was born to love this.

Rock The Bells 2009 Press Conference
Chang Weisberg gives all the info (as of yet) on the Rock The Bells lineup. It's gonna be hosted by KRS-1, Supernat, Murs, and Pete Rock. Hopefully Supernatural will actually stay on stage for minutes at a time this year...

Video: The Stupid Alien goes over two MF DOOMstrumentals
The stupid alien lays some guitar over the Agrimony beat, off Special Herbs vol. 3/4 from Metal Fingers (DOOM). He also laid another solo over the Mandrake beat also off of Special Herbs vol. 3/4. Yes, it's the same beat that J.Rocwell and Sugar Tongue Slim went over and killed.

Video: Skid Row
This is a little piece I started back when the blog was kicking off. Never finished it, so here's the semi-complete product.
Ignorance isn't something that can ever be cured. Ignorance isn't a disease, it is more of a hunger, a hunger for knowledge. No matter how much you eat in one sitting you will be hungry again, be it in 30 minutes, or 3 hours. As is the case with ignorance, learn all that you can, but you will never know it all, therefore ignorant shouldn't be looked at as an insult or a diss, think of it as a challenge, a challenge to learn, a challenge to be better.
Now this intro may have you thinking, "What the hell is he rambling about?", well, I'm starting a little section of The Morning Tilts called "Blank". What made me start this simply put, is Skid Row. Plain and simple, I did not know at all about the situation in Skid Row, as I'm sure many of you didn't either.
A 50 square block area in downtown Los Angeles with over 9,000 people in different states of homelessness.
"Skid Row is a state of mind"
I was originally planning on just posting the first video, but this problem is way to big to limit it to 1 of 5.
"For over 20 years the official policy for Skid Row has been one of containment. Los Angeles needs a catalytic action from its political leadership and it's not getting it. People ask "what can I do?" Anything."

Video: Rhymefest 'The Psychiatrist' analyzes Charles Hamilton
Now, I may be just a blogger, some loser who sits at his computer all day (you can tell by how much I post), but it doesn't take much to realize that Charles Hamilton is a little bitch. Man up homie, and get real.

Video: 50 Cent Threatens DJ Khaled's Mother
Wow. Seriously Curtis? I mean come one man, taking shots at his mom like that? If anyone has ANY respect for this man, drop it now. I'm not a DJ Khaled fan, all hootin' and hollerin' on songs (which lately haven't been the greatest to begin with), but that's not the point. 50's going to get what's coming to him, and I hope it's soon, because personally, I'm getting sick and tired of this baby ass rapper.

The Lonely Island- "I'm on a Boat" Feat. T-Pain
This video is hilarious. You may remember Andy Samberg and crew from Hot Rod, and the song "Lazy Sunday". Well they're back this time with T-Pain on the track, it's pretty funny and I think you guys will like it. Their album, Incredibad, is number 1 on iTunes, so if you're into that, go get it.
